Election day!!!

Democracy in action at Ramsgate Free School... Democracy is one of the core British Values we try to instill in the children at school, and what better way for them to understand it then to participate in the process. Inspired by the trip to the Houses of Parliament, the children wrote a persuasive speech in English to convince their classmates that they would make the ideal candidate to represent the class on the School Council. Some children also used the Love 2 Learn task to back-up their claims with promotional videos, posters, banners and even rosettes! 20 brave children gave a presentation and the votes will now be counted...
