Can You Make a Pattern at Home? Team Piper

This week, our reception class has been busy learning all about patterns! The children have been spotting and making their own patterns using colors, shapes, and objects. They’ve enjoyed creating sequences like red, blue, red, blue and circle, square, circle, square.

Making patterns helps children with their thinking and problem-solving skills, and it’s a lot of fun too!

Why not try making a pattern at home? You can use things like toys, crayons, or even snacks to create your own repeating patterns together. It’s a great way to keep the learning going outside of school!
