Amazing Poetry in Team Hayzelden
We have been writing wonderful poetry in Team Hayzelden today.
This term, we are reading 'Boy at the Back of the Class' by Onjali Q Rauf. We read the first two chapters and focussed on how the character of Ahmet felt when everybody was staring at him and wondering who he was. Today, Team Hayzelden wowed me when reading and writing free verse poems about how it feels to be stared at.
