Newspaper Reports in Team Hayzelden

We have been learning how to write newspaper reports in Team Hayzelden!
This week we have been learning about newspaper reports. We began the week by analysing a newspaper report and discussing their features. We noticed that a good newspaper report should feature a headline, picture and caption, past tense verbs, third person pronouns, facts and evidence, direct speech and adverbials to link paragraphs.
Today, we talked about the importance of interviewing people who were at the scene of the event being reported on to add credibility to the report. We came up with questions for the characters we wanted to interview and then acted in role to answer them.
