Garden Centre
This week we have had a role play garden centre in the our outside area.
The children have loved playing in the garden centre, they've been potting up plants, taking care of them and selling them on. I must say, the prices have been a bit steep at times!!
During one of our topic lessons this week, we had a close look at plants. We can name and identify the uses of the leaves, stem, flower and roots of plants - test us!
Our art lesson this week was looking at Van Gogh's sunflowers and then painting our own bunch of flowers. I was so impressed at the consideration the children were giving the colours and perspective.
