Team Chamberlain loved cutting some shapes on the dancefloor at their silent disco yesterday!
As part of Neuro Diversity and Inclusion Week, Yr 4 had the opportunity to work with Imagination Creative to work on some drama and drawing based on our book about inclusion, The Small Things.
The children worked together to move and make several shapes.
They thought about things and places that made them happy and drew them, made freeze frames about them and acted a scene about them.
Team Chamberlain loved dressing up for World Book Day last week and gave brilliant performances of the playscript of our school story, How to be a lion. They made props and added stage directions to their scripts - their collaborativeness was wonderful to see!

If your child would benefit from a social story about the changes to our routine next week, it is attached below.
The children will also be shown a timetable of the day each morning so they know what their routines will be.
Next Week is a great opportunity for our children to learn about neurodiversity and inclusion.
If you have any questions about any of the events happening, please do get in contact with a member of teaching staff or contact Mrs Hughes and Mrs Elliot.
With only a few weeks to go, please read for more info.
As part of our new topic 'Food for Thought' we have been learning about the digestive system. We recreated the journey our food takes, using tights, a banana, some weetabix, water and vinegar!
Mr Holliday ran a competition where we had to write a speech starting with the line 'If I ruled the world, the first thing I would do would be to...'
This morning, we watched the final with the winners from each class. We really enjoyed hearing Amber's speech again and cheering her on!
