Cultural Diversity Day

Yesterday the whole of RAPS celebrated Cultural Diversity Day with a carousel of activities and experiences...

The children were split into 6 groups and joined with others pupils from across the classes of KS2. Each child got to experience four different cultural activities that featured art, drama and music. Some of the activities included music from Ghana, the history of the Willow patterns on Chinese pottery and some animal-inspired South African artwork. The children hopefully learned a bit about these different cultures, as well as WHY it is important to take the time to learn about and respect different cultures.
