Year 6 Mock SATs

Dear year 6 parents,

Next week (w/b 25th March) your children will be sitting their mock SATs.

The mock assessments provide your children with a valuable insight as to how the assessments are conducted, reducing any pre-test butterflies and helping with familiarisation. In addition to helping your child, the mock process also allows the teachers to gain an understanding of the support children may need during the final stages before taking their statutory end of Key Stage 2 assessments in May.

More information about the statutory assessments will follow in a letter and there will be an opportunity for parents to come in for an informal meeting to discuss the details further.

For now, please ensure your child is punctual each day and ready to face the practice tests next week.
