Maths: Recapping number and place value

This morning, Team Amin had their first Maths lesson of the new year and explored ways of showing values using Dienes blocks, place value counters, number cards, interlocking cubes and in abstract ways. In particular, we represented both three and four digit numbers. Our topic this week is number and place value and we shall be recapping basic partitioning, finding one more or less and finding ten more or less than a given number. How wonderful that we were so confident today!
