Victorian School Trip
Year 6 visit Kent Life to learn more about the Victorians.
On Friday we visited Kent Life, Maidstone. After a gruesome 2 hour journey through traffic, we finally made it there in the pouring rain! Despite these setbacks, we still had a fantastic time. Some of our favourite activities were meeting Charles Dickens and taking part in some role play with him and his famous story of 'A Christmas Carol.' We also played Victorian style parlour games such as 'Blind Man's Buff' and 'Charades' and had a blast.
Furthermore, we got to meet some of the animals on the farm in our free time - we couldn't believe how huge the pigs were!
Overall, it was a great day and we'd love to go back for another themed day.
