3D shapes

Our first week of Term 4 saw us looking at 3D shapes...

We explored the key vocabulary (faces, edges and vertices - as well as proper names) before making a range of 3D shapes using Polydron and art materials. We finished the week by sorting shapes - looking for similarities and differences. See what 3D shapes your children can see in everyday objects - e.g. A can of beans is cylindrical or a Toblerone is a triangular prism!
