Speaker competition

We had a total of 19 students who wanted to participate in our class contest and it was almost impossible to get it down to just two class winners. Myself and Mrs Horrigan were blown away by the bravery, brilliance and performance of each and every one of the children who stood up in front of their peers and delivered their speech. We could have made a case for pretty much every single pupil going on to represent year 3 in the school final! Thank you to each and every one of them for taking the time to write such emotive and powerful speeches. In the end we decided on George and Zofia, who both went on to deliver awesome speeches in the school final on Friday - with Zofia being one of the 3 finalists to go on to represent the school in the Viking Academy Finals against Upton and Chilton. Thanks again to you all though - you have done yourselves and year 3 proud!!
