Friday's maths - 1/5/20

It is time to have a change of topic (see what I did there??), so today we will have a go at some problem solving…

Think back to the football half-time to full-time score problem we did in class. Remember that we tried to think of a sensible starting point and work to a system. These skills will help you try to find the answers to these problems. You can use practical resources to help you too. If you have real buttons, use them and physically sort / share them. If not, use something to represent the buttons – it could be coins, Lego bricks or even pieces of pasta.

The main task is to find ALL of the possibilities, but the learning is thinking about HOW you get there!
