What a beautiful day!

Hi Team Barnes,

I hope you are all well? It's bank holiday Friday and I have just had a very lovely beach walk with my dog Hugo! It's so warm outside today, make sure you be careful and wear sun cream if you're out in the sun. Enjoy this special VE day bank holiday Friday :)

I wonder if you know why this is such a special day today? Today, marks 75 years since the end of World War II in Europe. People would have been out in the streets and across the country celebrating all those years ago. Today will be a bit harder to celebrate in such a large scale and  with so many people around but I hope however you spend this special day you have a great time! 

We've had some birthdays in Team Barnes this week too. I would like to say a big Happy Birthday to Lexi-May, Poppy, Kiki and Amelia :) I hope you all enjoyed yourselves!
