Parking and Road Safety Outside of the School

Many of you will have noticed that the cones have been placed on the zigzag and double yellow lines outside of the school in a further effort to prevent a tiny minority of parents who still insist on parking dangerously at drop off and pick up times. This has already had a noticeable impact – the road is quieter and safer. Therefore I implore parents and carers and friends and relatives again to PLEASE NOT PARK ON THE YELLOW ZIG ZAGS AND DOUBLE YELLOW LINES. It makes the road crossing dangerous and puts children at risk. There have been too many near-misses recently for this issue not to be taken extremely seriously and the school will continue its vigilance.
