Thursday's English - 16/4/20
As we do not know how long this is going to last, we will start our new core text... Introducing Christophe's Story...
When we first share a book as a class, we often share just the title and cover and get the children to make their own predictions. Please do NOT look up the book on a search engine, that is not the point. Instead, using just the title and cover picture that is attached can you begin to predict what the book could be about. Questions to think about include:
- Is it fiction or non-fiction?
- If it is non-fiction, what information would be included?
- If it is fiction, what be the story line, plot events, settings or characters?
Your ideas could be written out as a short paragraph, as a mind map or even as your own blurb. Be as creative as you wish.
