The Orange Trading Game
On Friday, we played a game to highlight the importance of Fair Trade. Ask us what we had to do.
Today we played a game where we imagined the children were part of a family of orange growers. The aim of the game was to sell enough oranges to support their family financially. However, to replicate life in developing countries, there were lots of unforeseen circumstances including family bereavements, illnesses and school fees to consider as well as inflation and national debt to contend with! Ask you child if their family was able to make ends meet!
