Reading
Reading books were sent home today in your child's book bag. Please keep them in the plastic wallets to protect them from any spillages from water bottles.
We encourage children to read to an adult every day if possible and books will be changed when they have been read. It's also a good idea for your child to read each book twice - once just to read the words and the second time to read for understanding in their best 'storyteller' voice. This will help to improve their understanding of what they've read, make it more enjoyable to read and improve their progress. If you have any questions about your child's reading, please just ask.
