Theatre trip
Yesterday, the whole of KS2 walked to Newington Green to watch a performance in the temporary theatre that has been assembled there...
The story followed a young girl who wished she lost her voice and went on a journey to get it back. Some key themes of friendship, democracy, aspiration and being able to speak out were all covered by the brilliant acting team, whilst also thrown in was some lovely crowd participation and a raucous song about chips! The children (and the adults) absolutely loved it!
