Welcome back to our penultimate term at RAPS for this cohort. We hope you had a restful Easter break and are raring to go as we build up towards SATS...
In terms of the Arts Curriculum for term 5, Year 6 will have...
Monday - ICT and PE
Tuesday - PE and Dance
Wednesday - Drama and Music
Thursday - Double Art
There will be a focus this term on Maths and Reading, as we prepare for the national SATS tests that will take place near the end of this term. As writing is moderated separately, we will be blocking maths and reading for the beginning of the term and then shift the focus to writing afterwards.
We will have a parents' meeting about the SATS in the second week of term - this will provide information about the nature, purpose and organisation of the tests. A message will be sent out with the date shortly.
Finally, a reminder that a Love2Learn 'menu' was sent out at the beginning of the final week of last term, and at least one of the items on the list needs to be completed and handed in by this coming Friday.
