Last week of term...

As is often the case in the last week of term, there are a number of activities, events and circumstances that crop up. This blog post hopefully consolidates what has been sent out via MCAS and text messages recently...

On Monday there is the Young Voices trip for SOME of the children in Year 6. Around half of the class have been going to the Young Voices choir during lunchtimes and are heading off about 11am on Monday. They will need a packed lunch and a packed dinner and do not have to come into class the following day (Tuesday)until 11. All details have hopefully been sent out by Miss R-B and Miss Dannell about this trip.

Next Thursday we, as a school, are having our Jubilee celebrations - as the actual Jubilee is during the Half Term break. All children are invited to come into school wearing Red, White and Blue - the colours on the Union flag. On this day we will be undertaking some activities linked ot the Jubilee as well.

Finally, on Friday - the last day of term - there is a RAPS talent show. Auditions were last week and having sat in to watch the year 6 auditions, I know all the entrants were AMAZING! Miss Dannell and the Year 5 pupils said the decision on who to send through to the school final was extremely difficult. Well done to Meghan, Sienna, Phoebe and Remi who will be competing (and representing Year 6). We wish you all the best. Well done also to Luci, Scarlett and Henry - your auditions were brilliant too. Each of you should be proud of standing up and performing your talents.
