Dance workshop
Ever wanted to dance like a lion? Well, we had a workshop that taught a series of choreographed moves that showcased some dance moves we will see in the Lion King Stage musical on Wednesday...
The children actively and enthusiastically engaged in the session, which built up the series of moves, set to a soundtrack from the film and show. At the end, they had the opportunity to perform as a large group, and then some of the braver souls performed the entire routine in a trio.
If nothing else, the session proved what I have always known - that I personally have no rhythm or aptitude for dancing!!
