It began by reminding ourselves how to divide a 4-digit number by a single digit using the bus stop method, before moving on to look at dividing 4-digit numbers by a 2-digit number, This is something we don’t introduce until year 6 so we spent the week looking at how our knowledge of factors can help as well as how to create fact boxes for tricky prime numbers.
