Multiplication week
In maths this week, we were re-capping on multiplication, in particular, using formal written methods...
It began by reminding ourselves how to multiply a 4-digit number by a single digit, before moving on to look at multiplying 4-digit numbers by a 2-digit number. By the end of the week, we had also reminded ourselves how to multiply and divide by 10, 100 and 1000 by shifting the digits to the left or right, depending on the operation!
