Homework including spellings

This week's spellings are all based on words with a suffix and have been covered in the daily 'Star Spelling' lessons in class. Please take the time to practise these before next Friday's test. Also, although the majority of the children have mastered the methods of formal multiplication, some are finding it hard to independently answer questions in our weekly arithmetic test due to their times tables knowledge. Although in class they can use a multiplication square to support them, this will not be available in test situations, so it is imperative they learn all of the times tables. This is being done in school, but please try to reinforce this at home. It could be in the form of games, or even just on the walk to and from school.
