Love To Learn: Junior Leadership Team
This week I will be sending the children home with their Love To Learn homework books. Love to Learn is optional homework, there is no expectation that children complete this task unless they (and you) want them to. See below for details of this task:
Every year each class in Key Stage 2 vote for two pupils to act as our representatives in the RAPS Junior Leadership Team (JLT). They will be meeting with Mrs Beech in their bubble for 15 minutes during selected lunchtimes to put forward the views of the class, discuss important topics and help to steer the future direction of the school.
JLT reps are voted for by their classmates in a secret ballot. Any children who wish to apply for the post will need to make a short speech to their classmates explaining exactly why they will be the best person for the job.
Any child who is interested in becoming a JLT rep will need to prepare their speech in their Love to Learn book and bring it into class for next Friday (October 9th). On that day we will hear the speeches and make our votes!
