Marble Run Challenge

Team Amin created and ran their own marble run challenge this afternoon using all the cardboard rolls collected from home! The children collaborated with each other to build their own course, BUT to also create a run that took the marble to the end the slowest! Using their understanding of surfaces and how forces can slow things down or make things change direction, they thought up their own clever ways to slow their marble down, testing as they built (and as things fell apart)! What was wonderful to see was just how creative and thoughtful each individual tables' process was! Though all of the children created runs that took their marble to the end, our Honeycomb Pandas table finished their marble run the slowest and won the challenge! Well done to them and well done to all of Team Amin! Thank you again for all of your support, parents and carers - I know I appreciate it but the children certainly had a lot of fun because of your support!
