Bonfire night!

We LOVED learning all about Bonfire night. We started off by learning a little bit about Guy Fawkes and what he did. We then understood why we celebrate bonfire night. After this, we then looked at different ways that people celebrate with toffee apples, jacket potatoes, bonfires, fireworks and sparklers and much more. We then spoke about how to stay safe during bonfire night and we came up with some really sensible ideas: 

-Stay well away from fireworks

-Never touch or throw a firework

-Wear gloves when holding a sparkler and hold it at the end

We then made bonfire pictures and created giant rockets and fireworks outside with chalk. We hope you all had a lovely bonfire night :)
