RE and Diwali
During our first week back, we explored our RE topic of Diwali...
The children learned about the story of Rama and Sita, and from this about the importance of lights. The children made and decorated their own diyas, as well as watching a Rangoli pattern being created before decorating their own. Finally, we learned about the preparations that occur building up to the festival of lights.
