Properties of shape

Before we look at shapes themselves, we are looking at their properties / building blocks. This has included recognising different types of lines (vertical, horizontal, diagonal, parallel and perpendicular), and most recently the different types of angles (acute, right angles and obtuse). Once secure on these, we can understand what makes a pentagon a pentagon or a square a square!
