Home Learning Tuesday 31st March

Please see below for today's home learning.

It's Tuesday! I hope you had a good start to the week Team Gunson. I had quite a few emails yesterday and will get back to everyone today. Also we are looking at putting a comment function onto blog posts so we can all keep in touch. Hope to have this up and running sooner rather than later.

Maths: After an email yesterday I have decided that I will try to only put up maths sheets that have answers attached. I know how busy many parents and carers are at the moment and will try my best to make life a little bit easier if I can. Attached are two sheets. One is the questions, one the answers. Today we are going back over converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers. Here are some videos to help you out:

English: Continue with our myths. Some people wrote lovely character descriptions yesterday. Think about how they fit into your myth. Perhaps today you would like to carry your myth on. Remember the structure of a quest myth? Our hero needs to be set a task, perhaps by an evil king. They then need to go on a journey, fight some kind of creature or beast and then the story needs to be resolved. How does this happen? Does the hero bring back some kind of magical item that allows them to defeat the king? Does the hero get help along the way? Over to you...

Of course, if you would prefer to carry on with your journal, feel free.

Topic: Carry on with your board game. If it is complete, perhaps you can play through it or send me a photograph.
