Welcome back from Easter...

I know, speaking from personal experience, it was not like any Easter holiday I have ever experienced before, but we are now 'back in term time'...

As I am sure you have seen in the news and heard from the school that as it stands, the country is still in lockdown and the school remains closed to those other than for the children of critical workers. As a parent as well as a teacher, I hope I can empathise with the surreal situation we are in.

The government, and those from education unions have stressed that we do not expect parents to become teachers overnight! What we as a school are trying to offer is a range of activities that will build on prior learning where possible, that you can attempt to engage your children with. You know your children and your situation better than anyone and are in the best position to decide what will and will not work for your family or household.

If you want other activities, they can be found on the portal that is linked under the curriculum planner at the top of the year 3 blog page. If you have any other questions, queries or just want to share what you have been up to then my email address is on the class blog homepage.
