English: draft the end  of a science fiction story

Today I would like you to finish your Science Fiction story. Remember that it:

  • Takes place in space or in the future
  • Contains people who go on a journey
  • Includes aliens or species from different planets or worlds
  • Has unusual fantasy settings
  • Features super weapons and techie gadgets

Does your story have a happy ending, a sad one, maybe it ends on a cliffhanger where we are not sure that it is really the end at all... How do your techie gadgets help the characters to achieve their quest (or not)?
