Now that you have a design for a chocolate bar, I would like you to think about how you would make it…

The first thing to do is to write a set of instructions. In order to do this I have found a short and fairly simple video that demonstrates how to make simple milk chocolate. Remember that when you write your instructions you may need to add in your own ingredients as well, such as orange, fruit or nuts, depending on your design. You may find it easier to pause the video as you go and make notes before writing the instructions out fully.

Here is the video:

To help, here are the ingredients that you will need. Remember to put these at the start of your instructions as well as remembering to use numbered steps and to begin each with an imperative (bossy) verb.

Ingredients:

  • 50g cocoa butter
  • 50g icing
  • 3 TBL cocoa powder -- 18grams
  • 2 TBL powder milk. --- 13grans
  • A pinch of salt
