From the first few pages of our new core text, we know there is a young boy called Gregory who has just arrived in Tobago…
Tobago is a small island in the Caribbean and both the climate and surroundings are certainly different from Britain! I would like you to write a setting description today about what Gregory might see in Tobago. I have attached a document that includes some vocabulary you could include, as well as some pictures and possible sentence openers. You can also refer back to the PowerPoint pages from yesterday that include pictures from the book.
You could either write a series of sentences to describe the setting, or a short paragraph where the sentences are connected and follow on.
