Good morning and welcome to the first day of term 5! Time to put down the Easter eggs and get cracking with some work!

Maths- Estimation. Estimating is making a sensible guess. Sometimes you might do a quick bit of working out or using rounding to help you estimate. Complete one section of bronze, silver or gold on the sheet attached.

English- We are going to be reading and learning about a new book called 'Pig Heart Boy'. Go through the PowerPoint slides and complete the tasks attached in your book. Don't forget to click on the audio buttons to hear me!

Why don't you see if you can order the book or download it?

Topic- IK: Who Carl Linnaeus was. This term, our topic is called 'Living Alive' and we will be learning about living things including the human body. Your task today is to read the fact sheet about famous scientist, Carl Linnaeus (pronounced Lin-ay-us) and create a spider diagram of facts you have learnt about him. Don't want to do a spider diagram? You could create a PowerPoint or do bullet points instead. Having trouble reading the sheet? Why don't you watch a video or find a website about him? Remember to  use safesearch.

Feel free to email me your work or just to say hi! I'd love to hear from you.
