Team W: Global Trade

This term, Year 5 have been exploring the fascinating world of global trade – and how interesting it has been! Children have been learning about the British Empire and trade, before comparing how trade has changed over the years. They have explored global supply chains, discovering the incredible journeys our everyday products can make before reaching us. They have even been learning about Fairtrade and the origins of our food, thinking about where our food comes from, and the people involved in producing it. Along the way, we have had lots of fun, shared some amazing questions and challenged our thinking about how connected our world really is. Ask us all about it!🌎
