Fortnite parental controls
Dear Parent/Carer, We have had several incidents reported where children playing the Fortnite game have had older players joining their chat rooms using abusive language and making sexual references.
Firstly, can I remind you that the age recommendation for this game is T ( for Teen ), so 13 and above, as it is quite violent. Secondly, you may want to set parent restrictions so you are in control of who your child is potentially playing with. Our ICT team have prepared the vimeo on the link below that may help if you are unsure: https://vimeo.com/688586654/64d309574e I hope this is useful. Calling all budding Jamie Olivers or Andi Olivers…..but it’s ok, you don’t have to be an ‘Oliver’
Our 2020 Primary winner, Alfred Moisan, has gone on to write a book ‘In Conversation With......: Wisdom from the World’s Greatest Chefs, Winemakers and Hospitality Masters’ (with all profits going to the Fairshare charity) and he recently appeared at the Faversham Literary Festival!
Winners receive a share of £500 and the chance to cook in a professional kitchen!
The idea is to encourage all young people to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and discover how much fun cooking can be – while learning vital life skills along the way!
There are three categories Primary, Secondary and Further Education.
The entry form can be found here:
