Team B-C: fashion through the ages!
Published 15/06/26, by Kiki AminThis week in Topic, we are exploring fashion over the years and how clothes have stayed the same and how they have changed as well! We have started to look at fashion styles with photos from the 1940s compared with the 21st century, and we have also started to reflect on just how many similarities in types of clothing there are! Why not help us compare clothing and fashion by telling us or even showing us what our family members wore in the past when they were younger!

Team B-C: Mama to Mama
Published 05/06/26, by Kiki AminSupport Thanet Families – School Donation Drive
On Friday 12 June, we’ll be coming together as a school to support Mama to Mama, Thanet’s local baby bank.
We’re inviting the children to bring in one item from the attached list (or more if they wish) to help families in our community who are facing poverty.
- All items must be new and unused
-
Supermarket own brands are absolutely fine - there’s no need to buy expensive products
- Please do stick to the list, as it includes what families need most right now and helps the charity manage limited storage space
Thank you for your support.

Excellent English - Team BC
Published 14/05/26, by Joshua CialisWe've had a great time in Yr 2 writing our follow-on narratives for The Lonely Beast. We designed a friend for the Beast and imagined what they would do together. We thought carefully about constructing verbs and adverbs to describe what activities they'd do together. We then wrote our story over 3 lessons and edited our work.
After we had published our stories, we had a writing celebration where we read each other's work and enjoyed eating cakes (just like the beast). Ask us about our story.
