What a lovely first week back! The children have enjoyed seeing their friends, getting back into learning their sounds and, of course, doing what we love most... playing! 🧸

Why not ask your child about what they have enjoyed exploring this week? You could use some of these questions to get the conversation started!

• Did you play in the mud kitchen or home corner?

• Did you explore the tent?

• What did you enjoy building or making?

• What games did you play outside?

• Did you discover anything interesting in the tuff trays?

• Who did you enjoy playing with?

Asking specific questions about their play is a great way to encourage conversation, develop vocabulary and help children recall and share their experiences. You might be surprised by how much they have to tell you! 💬
