Team Beraet are news reporters

This week, Team Beraet have taken on the role of news reporters for a local paper... Using our core text of Krindlekrax, the children have retold one of the first key events to take place in Lizard Street. The children have thought about the 5ws in an introduction, generated questions to ask the main characters involved, conducted an interview to gain quotes and turned these into direct and reported speech. If that wasn't enough, they then wrote the main body of the article before editing! We hope that the children have impressed the editor enough to get a larger story in the coming weeks!
