I have been known to go on and on about the importance of punctuation this year in the classroom. Well, I can even carry on online now too...
Remember, no matter how wonderful your writing is in terms of vocabulary, structure and content, if it doesn't have full punctuation it is not even year 2 level. Attached is a sheet of sentences without punctuation. Copy them out as they should be written with full punctuation. You could even neatly shade the changes you have made with a coloured pencil. On the second page of the document are the answers so you can check how you did.
Also, don't forget that you may wish to add another entry onto the diary task set on Monday to put those punctuation skills into practice.
