Exit Point and World Book Day!

Don’t Forget:

World Book Day is on Thursday 1st March.

World Book Day celebrates the joy and value of books and reading, especially for children.

To celebrate the event we are hosting a week long Literacy festival filled with visits from various authors and illustrators. To make our week even more special we are inviting the children to celebrate their love for stories by dressing up as their favourite book character! We are also going to use this day as our exit point for our fairy tale topic. Please also send your child with some themed food for our story book banquet. For example, biscuits shaped to look like the Three Bears (from Goldilocks), milkshakes that could be renamed as magical potions and brews, buns and cakes decorated to look like treasure, and so on.

Please send your child in wearing a costume from a book AND a fairy tale based item of food on Thursday 1st March 2018
