RAPS Singers In Music Single and Video

A community music project built on the idea that anyone can sing and anyone can create, regardless of age or ability, is releasing an uplifting new single and music video this month.
Sing from the Heart, an intergenerational, mixed-ability music project developed with the support of Music4Wellbeing and led by Margate’s Charlie Hannah, returns with its latest production, Let There Be Music.

Sing from the Heart brings together participants from across Kent, including Thanet, Canterbury, Ashford and Maidstone, uniting diverse voices, abilities and generations in a shared creative process.
Participants include members of Music4Wellbeing therapeutic singing groups for people living with challenges such as dementia and Parkinson’s, alongside a mixed ability group from The Gap Project in Broadstairs, and Margate’s Inspiration Creative, supporting deaf and additional-needs participants.

Community choirs including Revival Food and Mood’s Singing for Mental Health group and Living Lively also take part, together with pupils from Ramsgate Arts Primary School, creating a powerful intergenerational collaboration.
The new video and single capture the joy and connection of this collaborative process, highlighting music’s ability to bring people together across generations and abilities.

The project’s success demonstrates how inclusive arts can build confidence, strengthen community connections and create lasting shared experiences.
Let There Be Music is available on all major streaming platforms from April 16th.
