Personal development week in Team Bullard Term 1 2026
We have discussed so many new and exciting ideas !
This week we have practised our debating skills with our big question: Should we ban zoos? By incorporating gesticulation, we helped elevate our speech to make stronger points and further the discussion.
In RE we have been looking at how signs and symbols mean different things to different communities, with our final task being to design a Christian place of worship that uses signs and symbols of Christianity such as fish, doves and the cross. Some even remembered to include a rainbow from the story of Noah and the Ark !
RSHE saw us explore what makes a good friend, identify people who can help us and wonder if the internet is a reliable source and how to check when we are not sure.
In our values lessons we learnt about democracy and political parties, before practising how to vote as we cast our vote for class JLT.
