Role on the Wall

This week, we started our new book, Planet Omar: Accidental Trouble Magnet. After exploring the front cover and reading the first two chapters, we created a ‘Role on the Wall’ for Omar. We used evidence from the text and our inference skills to consider his thoughts and feelings, as well as what his words and actions reveal about his character. We also explored the author’s use of language, including figurative language, and discussed how it helps us understand Omar’s lively imagination
