Year 4 Copse Trip

Team McCurry and Team O’Flaherty are off to Newington Copse this term for a woodland walk to spark their imaginations and inspire their writing for their next English unit.

The visits will take place on the following dates:

· Team McCurry: Tuesday 10th November, leaving school at 12.40pm and returning by 1.45pm

· Team O’Flaherty: Tuesday 17th November, leaving school at 12.40pm and returning by 1.45pm

As the trips will take place during the school day, children should come to school as normal at 8.15am, wearing their school uniform. However, we recommend that they wear an old pair of shoes or trainers instead of their school shoes, along with a warm, waterproof coat. We will be walking to and from the Copse.

Children will have lunch at school as usual and will return in time for their Arts Curriculum sessions. As always, parent volunteers are essential in helping us make trips like this possible, and we would be very grateful for any support you are able to offer.

Best wishes,

Year 4 Team :)
