Excavating Dinosaur Bones 

This week in Team Spurrier we became palentologists and looked at how real dinosaur bones were discovered and then carefully excavated and moved to museums. We learnt that people use many different tools to do this and even wrap the bones in a cast (like when we break a bone) to keep them save during transportation. We had a go at excavating bones ourselves and drawing what we found.
