School Council

Last week we were learning about democracy. We learnt about how a fair voting system works and how this is used in parliment. We then wrote speeches to why we wanted to be elected as the school council representative for our class. We then performed our speech to our classmates to try to persuade them to vote for us. We came up with incentives such as 'longer lunch times', 'no more maths' and 'juice instead of water in our water bottles'. All of our speeches were wonderful and very persuasive but it was Scarlett and Oscar who won the vote. Well Done you 2!
