RE: Hinduism
We have been learning about Hinduism...
This week, Team Amin have been exploring Hinduism and the beliefs and practices of Hindus. We have learnt all about the importance of the Hindu shrine, the features of a puja plate and what each element is (e.g. offerings of fresh fruit, sweets and flowers, incense, kum kum, fresh water and an oil lamp) and we have learnt about what it is like in the mandir (temple). Today, Team Amin acted out the process of entering and being in the mandir, which they performed beautifully to their peers. What a super way to end a lovely week of learning.
